A big part of my Communication Capstone was to create a video PSA that had a message that encouraged media literacy. My group and I came up with the idea to encourage college students to occasionally "unplug" from social media. Our research indicated that there can be negative aspects to overusing social media, and we wanted to create a message that would persuade students to take the time to disengage every now and then.
